Beauty Science: Is the study of why humans perceive certain traits, forms and patterns as attractive, combining biology, evolutionary psychology and neuroscience.
Core sense: Rather than viewing attraction as completely random, this field looks at objective and measurable factors that shape aesthetic preferences.
Common usage: is the scientific study and application of cosmetic chemistry, dermatology, and biology to create skincare, haircare and personal grooming products.
My Design Process
1. RESEARCH:
I researched beauty, health and collagen with the intent to create a new brand, logo and collagen supplement.
2. COPYWRITING:
From my research I wrote the packaging message with the intent to empower readers with the understanding of how collagen works in the body to enhance their natural beauty with the Beauty Science collagen supplement.
3. IMAGES:
I created the logos in Illustrator. And I sourced all of the images, fonts and packaging requirements before preparing the assets in Photoshop and Illustrator.
4. COMPOSITION:
Finally I created the composition in InDesign to complete the packaging designs.
