LOGO DEFINITION


Sweetly Divine Gelato: Meaning a gelato that tastes so exceptionally good, rich or flavourful that it feels divine or like it came straight from heaven.
Core sense: A flavour and experience that is not just tasty, but of a transcendent, mouthwatering perfection.
Common usage: Heavenly delicious.

My Design Process

1. RESEARCH: I researched ice cream and gelato with the intent of creating a new brand, logo and product design.
2. COPYWRITING: From my research I created the brand name, flavour profiles and product descriptions.
3. IMAGES: I created the logo in Illustrator. I sourced and created custom illustrations using a combination of Illustrator and Photoshop. And I prepared images in Photoshop utilising color grading to emphasise the flavour profiles visually.
4. COMPOSITION: I created the composition in InDesign to complete the packaging, packaging display and website designs. Finally, I created a motion graphic in After Effects to animate the website and demonstrate how it looks scrolling in a tablet view.
